IN THE SHALA
This yoga class is for people without any or little yoga experience, for students recovering from injuries or for participants who simply want to take it easy. It is a trauma aware class, meaning everyone will feel welcome and safe.
Each week, the class will be different, containing a mix of gentle movements, delicious stretches, breathing, meditation and other mindful practices. There will be no fast sun salutations or complicated postures.
The aim is to build awareness of the body, confidence in movement and become familiar with yoga.

All the necessary props are available at the shala but you are welcome to bring your own. For this Yoga class, you need a mat, a bolster, a block, a blanket and a belt.
This is an interactive online class that is live streamed while a small of amount of students are guided in the shala simultaneously. I try to keep the students in the shala off-camera (except for the occasional demo-volunteer) and will only record classes occasionally for my online library after asking for permission from all participants.
